The Gregory M. Hirsch Heart Foundation was recently honored as a finalist in the NJBIZ Healthcare Heroes awards program, which honors individuals and organizations that are making a significant impact on the quality of health care in New Jersey. GMHHF was nominated in the category of Education Hero – Organization for demonstrating heroic actions in the health care industry, including providing health care education services and free heart screenings for New Jersey students. In the most recent issue of NJBIZ, GMHHF Founder & Chairman, Fred Hirsch, was interviewed about the function, goals, and impacts of the organization. Mr. Hirsch identified important future goals, including increasing the availability of free heart screenings for students and expanding educational efforts to NJ schools and the general public.
